Hi, my name is Robert (Bob) Bunch. I'm 75 years old and completed the rookie experience
at Chicagoland June 18th (Father's Day). I finished with the top speed of 137.08
MPH on my final lap. The people working the pit area and my lead driver told me
that I did a great job,and had the top speed of the day. This was the most exhilarating
experience of my life. I thought you might let older folks know that it's not just
for kids, us old guys can do it too. Thanks for the opportunity to fullfill my desire
to do this.
My boyfriend and I were able to be in Michigan this weekend so he could go on a
Ride Along. He wanted you to know that he thought this was the greatest experience
he says he ever had. And I would really like to thank everyone involved. I wasn't
able to go in the car this time, but I was treated so nicely by everyone. It made
it a wonderful time for all of us.
We were also highly impressed with the man that drove my boyfriend's (John) car.
John was in the 6 car and we wondered if there was a way for us to write, or e-mail
the driver, and let him know just how impressed he was. John thought he was a marvelous
driver and he was impressed with his experience as well. We both hope that the Richard
Petty experience will continue into next year so I can go for the first time and
John can go for his second. Then maybe he would be ready for the Drive Along. I
know he has a whole new respect for these race car driver's we watch every weekend
on tv.
This whole thing was my boyfriend's Christmas present from last year, and I want
to thank you all for making it even better then we could have ever imagined.

I just did the RPDE at MIS and it was the greatest thing a have ever done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did the 30 lap session which was well worth the money. Instructors were great,
drivers of the chase cars were excellent with comments and help to drive faster.
I have already told at least 5 people that have been thinking about that they have
to do this.

I have just came back from Las Vegas motor speedway. WOW! Your crew was great, loved
the program. Was treated like I was the king for the day. I will be back !

Its been two and half weeks since I drove at Orlando and I can't stop smiling. Of
course, a lot of that has to do with driving the car. But, I would also like to
say that the staff could not have been better and they made my experience go from
great to super.
Anyway, this is just a note to say Thank You Very Much. And, I will be doing it
again.

My wife purchased "The Experience of a Lifetime", at Gateway International in St.
Louis, for me for my sixtieth birthday. And it truely was THAT!! I had mentioned
to her earlier this year that I had done everything that I had ever wanted to do,
except drive a race car. We are both big NASCAR fans and the next Sunday during
the race she heard the ad for RPDE. She then changed her plans for a big party for
the big "60" to the "Experience".
I just want to thank you and your Gateway crew, we both had the most unforgetable
time. Your people are the friendliest and most accomodating that I have ever seen.
From the Instructors, to the pit workers, to the souvenier trailer, they are really
a "class act".
I would like to thank my instructor, Matt Krechel, specifically for the last five
laps. "SIMPLY UNNNN-BELIEVABLE"

My name is Liz , and on October 13, 2005 my boyfriend, Jeff , and I participated
in the RPDE at Chicagoland Speedway. We both participated in the Rookie Experience.
From the moment we arrived everyone was so friendly and helpful. Everything from
check-in to the graduation was so well organized. At the end of the training session,
I had backed out of driving my own car and opted to do the Ride Along. The whole
RPDE staff was so nice and catering to me by letting me do an 8 lap ride along with
James. I can definitely say this was the thrill of a lifetime and an experience
I will never forget!! Once I finally learn how to drive a manual transmission I
know I definitely want to come back and drive myself! I just wanted to let you know
how impressed we were with the RPDE. You have an excellent staff and program and
we will definitely be back!!
