The 'experience' gives you the opportunity to drive 9 horse power Karts on a race
course, running against the clock in a time trial format. Richard Petty Driving
Experience offers this exciting new program at multiple locations, for groups of
any size. Just as with our NASCAR-style driving and Ride-Along programs, High Performance
Karting (HPK) is a mobile based, self contained program and can be utilized as a
marketing display, team building event or incentive program.
Program Details
At the start of the High Performance Karting Experience you will receive brief instructions
and then get fitted for a helmet and driving suit. Our HPK programs are highly customizable
with options such as practice sessions, qualifying sessions, heat and feature races
and endurance racing. As an example, our HPK Grand Prix is a multi-tiered race format
that is designed to challenge your driving skills in a high-action real race environment.
You will compete against other drivers in a practice and qualifying format to compete
for the pole position. All participants will then advance to semi-final heat races
and compete head-to-head for a chance to compete in the final race and your spot
in Victory Lane!
